PINEAPPLE CURRY

Fresh pineapple is an excellent source of vitamin C.
The fruit is used in variety of delicious recipes mainly as a flavour  ingredient.but here I prepared  a curry with raw pineapple. Try it.

Cook time: 15minutes



Ingredients:

2cup pineapple-finely chopped
5nos red chilli
4nos green chilli
1cup buttermilk
1tsp mustard seeds
1tsp fennygreek/uluva
1/2tsp turmeric powder
2cup coconut-grated
1tsp cumin seeds/jeera
4tsp coconut oil or any refined oil
2tsp curry leaves
salt to taste.

Method:

Take a pineapple,cut a slice off the top and bottom,then cut the rind off the sides in wide strokes trying to leave as much flesh as possible while removing all of the eyes.Then cut length wise and remove the core from each half and cut into small pieces.
 
 
 
 

1) Cook the finely chopped pineapple with turmeric powder,salt and 1/2 glass of water.

2) Grind well grated coconut,cumin seeds and green chill.
3) Take a kadai with coconut oil,heat it.Add mustard seeds, fennygreek,red chillies (cut lengthwise). Add grinded iteams,butter milk and curry leaves.Stir well.When it boil finish the cooking.
