 Chemmeen Chammanthi Podi / Dry Prone Chammanthi Podi is a Kerala traditional Podi. It is an instant recipe which is a good compo with plain rice. You can make it very quickly and easily..with in minutes..Please try it....and enjoy....

INGREDIENTS: 



* Unakka Chemmeen / Dry Prone........................1/4 cup
* Grated and Roasted Coconut.............................1/4 cup
* Green chillies.....................................................4 nos
* Curry Leaves......................................................1 Sprig
* Tamarind............................................................1/2 of lemon size balls or as per your taste.


DIRECTIONS:


1. Take 1/4 cup of dry prone, Wash, clean and dry it well.
2. Heat a pan with dry prone. Stir continuously till it roasted.
3. Add curry leaves and stir for few seconds and finish the cooking.
4. Grind roasted prone, roasted coconut, curry leaves,tamarind and green chillies for a few seconds. Now Chemmeen Chammanthi Podi / Dry Prone Chammanthi Podi is ready.


TIPS

* Don't grind too much. Just crush all ingredients.
* You can use dry red chillies instead of green chillies.But roast the dry red chillies before grinding.
* You can avoid grated coconut, In that case you have to add 1 or 2 tsp coconut oil in the Chemmeen Chammanthi Podi.
* You can add grated coconut without roasting.
