Chocolate Rava Laddu / Chocolate Semolina Laddu Kerala style sweet is prepared from roasted Semolina / Rava / Suji , ghee, little milk, cashew nuts, raisins, sugar, grated coconut etc...This delicious Kerala traditional Laddu is simple and easy to make. In fact in Kerala most of people never use Chocolate powder and vanilla essence in the traditional Semolina / Rava Laddu. Instead of it they use cardamon / Elaichi. Please try this classic sweet.

Ingredients:
* Warm milk.............................................................12 tbsp
* Drinking chocolate powder..................................6 tbsp
* Vanilla essence................( Optional )..................3 drop
* Ghee.....................................................................3 tbsp
* Cashew nut..........................................................20 nos
* Raisins..................................................................20 nos
* Grated coconut...................................................3 cups
* Sugar..................................................................1.5 to 2 cups
* Roasted semolina / suji / rava...........................3 cups
* Cherry for garnishing.......................................A few.
Directions:
1. Take a bowl with warm milk, Add chocolate powder, vanilla essence and mix it well.
2. Heat a pan with ghee, roast the cashew, raisins and keep aside.
3. Add grated coconut and sugar into the same pan. When the sugar get melting add roasted semolina / rava and mix it well for few seconds. Add chocolate powder and vanilla essence mixture. Stir it well and finish the cooking. Add roasted cashew, raisins and Once again stir it well for few seconds.
4. Now wet the hand with ghee and shape it as Laddu. ( Make lemon sized balls out of it neatly and apply a cherry upon and serve.
Tips:
* Make lemon sized balls when it is warm.
* You can add sugar as per your taste.
* You can keep it 1 month or more in refrigerator.
