SUMMARY
Hi friends......,Today I am feel so tired due to my illness. On 25th Friday when I was in the office,Suddenly I had the nose bleeding,It bleed like a tap.The bleeding was harder to stop and lasted over one and half hours.A large amount of blood lost from my nose.I was admitted to the THANGAM Hospital,Palakkad,Kerala,South India.The doctor said I have sinusitis, nasal polyps and nose bend.He advised a surgical treatment.Nasal packs are used in both side of my nose.On monday 28th,oct;2013 Dr. Ranjith . G, MS (ENT) operated my nose succesfully. On friday 01st nov;I was discharged from the hospital. I am so tired but I have to post this recipe in time so that I am posting this with the help of my niece Surya. she helped me a lot to type the matter and so.
Cracked wheat also known as Dalia or Nurukku gothambu is a highly nutritious because it carries a great deal of nutrition and fiber since it includes the fiber and nutrient rich outer bran and germ of the wheat.For this reason,It is often added to healthy diets,especially those eaten by people or concerned about heart health and diabetic.It is also a good source of iron,magnesium and phosphorus.
Broken wheat is more nutritious than rice,because it contains more fiber,more vitamins and minerals.
Broken wheat is a wheat product made from whole raw wheat kernels.Broken wheat is made by crushing raw wheat into smaller fragments.
Small crushed whole wheat kernels that have a firm and fine texture.These are usually used to prepare broken Wheat Kheer or Nurukku gothabhumbu Payasam. Medium sized whole wheat kernels that are usually used for salty preparations like Upma or Namkeen dalia.........With regards........
INGREDIENTS
Broken wheat...............................................200 gm.
Coconut milk................................................2 coconuts .
Jaggery or gur or sharkkara............................1 cup or adjust as per your taste.
Cardamom pods or elaichi or ealakka................few.
Raisns.......................................................few for garnishing.
Cashew.....................................................few for garnishing.
Ghee .......................................................3 or 4 tbsp.
Water......................................................6 cups.
DIRECTIONS
1. Wash and soak the broken wheat in the water for 30 min. Drain and let it dry for few more time.
2. Heat a pan with 2 tbsp ghee and add the washed and soaked broken wheat,fry the broken wheat till its turns light pinkish color.
3.Take 6 cups water in a vessel and bring to the first boil, Now slowly add the broken wheat. Stir it occasionally. Allow broken wheat to cook inside the water.
4. Now add 2nd extract coconut milk stir it and cook it on a low flame till the broken wheat become soft and tender.
5. Add the jaggery and keep stirring well.
6. Now add 1st extract thick coconut milk and after just a boil add ghee and crushed cardamom. Finish the cooking and garnish with raisins and cashew.
7. Serve the Broken Wheat Kheer or Nurukku Gothambu Payasam warm or cold.

TIPS
* If you boil jaggery with little water and filter it and add it to the broken wheat kheer is better.
* Take a pan with little ghee heat it and add the cashew nuts when it slightly brown add raisins,When the raisins puffs up remove and set aside for garnishing.
* After adding jaggery stir continuously till it becomes thick and half of the orginal quantity.
* Broken Wheat Kheer or Nurukku Gothambu Payasam should be creamy.
